FELIX BARKOW was born and raised in Berlin. Barkow's urban experience drives his practice, seeking the residue left by the biographies that shift and change amongst the city. Language is an important theme in Barkow’s work, partially due to his dyslexia. He looks to question the relationship between truth and meaning, how through communication, the latter can become lost or deformed. He participated in a group exhibition at Galerie Achtzig in 2019 and recently two solo exhibitions at SHIFT Salon, Berlin Schöneberg, in 2021 and 2022. Barkow will pursue art studies in the upcoming year.
